Last Saturday we had the absolute pleasure to be booked for Gemma & Steve's big day at Rogerthorpe Manor in Pontefract West Yorkshire
Recently we have had a few weddings at Rogerthorpe Manor with some absolutely fab fun couples!!!
Saturday started out with me arriving at the brides parents house in Doncaster for me to capture all the fun bridal getting ready stuff that happens early on in the wedding day, it's always nice as well when you are familiar with the bride as we have seen her a few times at previous weddings as a lot of our work is now ' word of mouth ' it's always a good job to make an impression at every wedding.
We have a Creative - FUN - Upbeat style of wedding photography where we love for you to enjoy your wedding day with minimal fuss from your photographer.
What can we say about the weather? Errrr a bit hit and miss really as one minute it was lovely then the next the heavens opened :-(
Not to be put off by a little bit of water though, true professionals!!!
We headed off to Rogerthorpe Manor where Steve was waiting for his gorgeous bride Gemma
When we arrived at Rogerthorpe Manor everybody made their way inside to get ready for Gemma & Steve's ceremony. Not to be put off with rubbish weather though after the ceremony we were on weather watch to get that break where we could get everybody outside for some fun shots!!!
Always love banter at weddings and love catching moments as they happen rather than ' setting up ' shots to look more staged and uncomfortable, though we do love bride & groom time where we get to go for a little walk and get that all important ' sexy time' with our couples where they also can get a few minutes alone time.
Gemma announced to me also that a couple have people hadn't turned up for the meal so did I want to sit down with them? Hell yeah lets do it i thought ( photographers need food )
The food was absolutely spot on, tomato soup ( best ever ) chicken and chocolate profiteroles plus coffees etc, jeez one could hardly move after all that :-/
As we headed back inside ready for some crazy evening dance floor fun stuff the weather had eased off and we managed to get an awesome low light shot of Rogerthorpe, to which I am quite chuffed with :-)
All in all another fab day and now you want to see some images right?
