Weetwood Hall Wedding Photography - Zoe & Gareth

Last Saturday we were back at the fab and friendly (all the staff are) Weetwood Hall in Leeds for Zoe & Gareths Wedding (the ceremony was held at Farsley Church) and the day/weather was looking absolutely gorgeous (spring is here) the sun was shining and it was perfect temperature.

We started at Farsley Church as Zoe wasn't fussed about any getting ready shots, as we arrived it was nice to get to know the wedding guests and family as they arrived and the vicar OMG why cant ALL vicars be like him? He was the most friendliest, most welcoming vicar EVER! (not all vicars are like that let me tell you, even he agreed and didn't understand why some vicars are kinda power mad and like to make things difficult for everyone)

After the ceremony I really like to capture as much natural interaction and kisses and hugs and handshakes with the couple as much as i can but I was also aware of the time and as we were running a little late kept this to minimal setting off to Weetwood Hall soon after to enjoy some time in the grounds to get as many family and guest pics as poss

Really fab wedding day and great weather with fun people (what more could you want)

Property Photography Yorkshire I Property Photographer

One thing we have introduced recently to our photography business is some property photography shooting interior and exteriors using our new wide lens on our full frame Nikon cameras.

Just before Christmas we had a phone call from a nationwide business who wanted to use us on an ongoing basis shooting property around areas close to us (we had to supply some postcodes we were able to cover). 

For the last few weeks we really have been getting into it (and love it) and managed a few properties local to us in the WF and HD areas (we have also had a local builder use us for some recent developments)

Gomersal Park Engagement/Wedding Photography I Amy & Daniel

Yesterday I met up with Amy & Daniel to have a chat about wedding plans plus get some natural, fun and relaxed shots all around the grounds of Gomersal Park Hotel.
I really do enjoy our Pre Shoots and we always include them in every package and defo recommend you take advantage of them (hey you never know you might even enjoy, thats the plan) 😂

We sat down first inside the bar area on the comfy chairs and went through some info and ideas for pics on the day before walking around the huge grounds to just get some natural and most of all FUN pics! Daniel mentioned he wants lots of FUN stuff on the wedding day (defo down for that mate)

Photobooth West Yorkshire I Megan's 18th at St Pierre Wakefield

Saturday night saw us back at Hotel St Pierre in Wakefield for Megan's 18th Birthday Party where we set up our S U P E R W I D E Photobooth Backdrop (thanks to all the staff for being so helpful) plus we had an event printer, laptop and monitor set up and we and were we able to produce 9 by 6 inch prints in seconds (everybody loved this and defo took advantage of our event printing skills)

We really do absolutely love when we have to space to really open our backdrop to its full potential and this really just makes for better group shots and with the addition of our constant lights (providing the bling) and our funky colourful props we defo think its a winner (who wants to sit cramped inside a booth for just head and shoulder pics with 3 folk anyway?)

Oulton Hall Engagement Photography - Sarah & Craig

Earlier today I met up with Sarah & Craig at the gorgeous Oulton Hall to go through wedding info, family shots and general ideas for their upcoming fun wedding at Oulton Hall plus get some nice relaxed and fun shots outside using the gorgeous grounds at Oulton Hall (these guys are defo naturals)

We sat down inside first and made some notes for times and a few ideas for family pics (never like to make it too formal) before heading off outside (the weather was getting better by the min too and the light was perfect) to get some shots of this crazy couple around the grounds and using one or two props along the way (anything can make a good prop 😂)

We really are not ones for lots of stiff awkward and unnatural poses like some other more traditional photographers, we much prefer a more fun and journalistic approach!

Wentbridge House Engagement Photography I Jade & Josh

Yesterday I hooked up with Jade & Josh at Wentbridge House (who actually booked us about 2 years ago), the weather really looked great as I drove down the A1, although a little bit chilly the light looked gorgeous and we all did agree if it looked like this on the wedding day (with a little more warmth) that would be perfect. 

It really is all about the light and being able to see the gorgeous light plus having some nice interaction with your couples and I really do hope Jade & Josh enjoyed yesterdays fun (i think they did)

When I arrived at Wentbridge House I found them chilling in the lounge right by the open fire over a nice warm Yorkshire brew 😆. 

We went through any info and times plus ideas for family pics before heading out in the grounds and around the village to get some more natural and fun pics (see below), Jade was defo dressed in her super hero cape ('coatigan' apparently) and Josh in his errrrrr shirt 😂 (he wasn't cold honest)
