London Photographer Xmas 2021

Well December was a great month with some time off in London as well as various other things. We absolutely LOVE London and I always enjoy shooting whilst down there (all images in this post shot with iPhone)

We set off on the train (so much easier than driving and trying to find a parking place too) and after a few train problems (sat for a few hours and a few brews not going anywhere) we eventually arrived in London at Kings Cross before getting a taxi to our hotel just round the corner from the London Eye

Whilst we were in London we made sure we did lots of stuff including a visit to the Winter Wonderland, checking out how gorgeous inside the Savoy is (how friendly were the staff absolute FAB), we visited Buckingham Palace and Harrods in Knightsbridge plus lots of other stuff. London really is an experience and I always enjoy time there. Maybe one one I will take my DSLR down and get some night time shots? How fab would that be?

Kings Croft Wedding Photographer

Back in September I was at Kings Croft for Chantelle & Joe's wedding, the weather really was spot on too and signs of Autumn were on the way (love autumn).

All Chantelle & Joe's friends and family were just so much fun and I could defo tell this was going to be a fab day (it was nice to see Sally & Luke there too as I shot their wedding a few years back)

I always like to start getting all the girls getting ready vibes and the rooms at Kings Croft really are great with lots of natural light. Joe arrived later so I bobbed down to get some shots of him trying to not look to nervous and some interaction with his groomsmen and wedding guests etc

The wedding ceremony was outside in the pavilion amongst the gorgeous gardens and after this is great as it means everyone is so much easier to organise due to them not being all over the place. Its always nice to get as many family and friends shots in this time too and as I knew the weather was staying nice all day I left the B&G shots till later (when they would feel more relaxed too)

Massive thanks for feeding me (i got a full 3 course meal nice one food was amazing too)

Funky dancing till late into the eve on the huge dance floor, love this time too and being in the zone and on the dance floor you just get great shots

West Yorkshire Wedding Photographer - Courtney & James

Back in April for the wedding ceremony CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE BLOG POST then in September for the eve reception and night do I was shooting Courtney & James's wedding. To get to this point there had been quite a few plan changes due to the awful covid (at one point we were all going over to Ireland, which is a shame as we weren't allowed) but hey ho never to let anything stop her Courtney stayed positive throughout and adapted where necessary.

Both days were perfect, I have known Courtney for quite a while now and James (the names bond) is the most chilled out guy I know that would do anything for anyone, how cute I just love these guys plus did I mention they have the most friendliest cutest doggie and I always get a welcome when I visit! The parents aren't too bad either 😜 (tbf I love them too)

Anyway I could honestly waffle on for ages how much I love this family but lets see some randomly selected highlights below...

Oulton Hall Wedding Photography - Lauren & Chris

Back in August I was back at the amazing Oulton Hall (defo a fav venue for shooting weddings) for Lauren & Chris's wedding day.

I started early morn at Oulton Hall with all the girls getting ready and the weather was just perfect with the most amazing light and blue sky. Lauren & Chris had booked me as they wanted something a bit more FUN & Natural plus they did want some Creative lighting shots too (looked forward to getting creative later).

After shooting weddings for about 15 plus years you just know when its going to be a good day and as I got to know all the friends and family as the day unfolded I just knew this was defo up there as one of the best!

The ceremony was set outside (love outside wedding ceremonies for the natural light) and its great after for cracking on with as many family and groups shots plus its made a lot easier as everyone tends to stay in one place longer.

The ceremony was inside the big room and it just looked absolutely stunning (if carlsberg did weddings)

After the reception and speeches we spent some time wandering around the gorgeous gardens and inside the beautiful hall, getting the drone out where possible too

Lauren & Chris I really want to say a HUGE thanks for letting me shoot this day and be part of the fun and madness that was your wedding, you rock!

Wedding Photography Huddersfield - Heidi & Dan

Back in July in the super gorgeous red hot summer it was Heidi & Dan's wedding at Liversedge Church then over to 315 in Lepton Huddersfield for the reception and to carry on the wedding fun!

The weather was red hot and the sun super shadowy so when it came to doing some family shots after the ceremony I felt lucky we had a little shaded spot round the back of the church.

Heidi is such a positive spirit and I don't think I have ever seen her not smiling or being her fun self (just love that) Dan is more chilled and laid back but defo a winning combo!

All the wedding guests and family were just as mental and as fun loving as Heidi & Dan and I absolutely just loved the whole day. The eve we were treated to fireworks from across the road in a neighbouring field as the light went down!

What an awesome wedding day and thanks to Heidi & Dan for inviting us to celebrate their love!!

Wentbridge House Wedding Photography - Jess & Louis

Back in June (sorry for lack of blog updates) I was back at the gorgeous Wentbridge House for Jess & Louis's wedding day, before the ceremony at a lovely church in Rothwell. The weather was great all day and despite the last week of lockdown restrictions guest were in good spirts too.

I had Danny on 2nd shoot duties plus Jordan on Video, I started at Jess's parents house just round the corner from the church for getting ready shoot before heading down to the church, there was even a reporter from the local paper getting in on the action too.

After the ceremony everyone headed over to Wentbridge House to carry on the fun, I have recently introduced a drone and was really looking forward to trying it out.

What a fab day and thanks to Jess & Louis for inviting us to capture it

Kings Croft Pre Wedding Photography

I met up with Chantelle & Joe earlier at Kings Croft to go through upcoming wedding info plus get some relaxed and fun shots of them in the lovely grounds. The weather was gorgeous too with lovely blue skies all around so defo chance to pop the drone up!

I started with some shots by the outside ceremony pavilion type thing and as they had brought their 3 cute lads and doggie I knew we would have some fun. Literally just wandering and exploring around the gardens and just using the natural light with a 70-200 lens on the Nikon.

After some time we sat down outside and went through some info for times and ideas for family shots.

Oulton Hall Pre Wedding Photography

This morning I hooked up with Lauren & Chris at the gorgeous Oulton Hall to get some nice relaxed and fun pics and also as this was the first time we had met get to know them a little better before their wedding in August this year. We had to literally bribe the kids to maccy d's later to get some smiles 😜

I always like to make the pre shoot as fun and natural as possible and it also gives me and the couple chance to see how we work on the wedding day, I don't (like some) spend hours doing lots of unnatural and stiff posing I just want the wedding day to unfold as naturally as possible but with lots of fun and banter!

The light today was perfect too so here's hoping its similar on the wedding day? I also had the drone up before Lauren & Chris arrived

Wedding Photographer Wentbridge House - Becky & Neil

So last month it was time for Becky & Neils's FUN wedding at the magical Wentbridge House, I met Becky & Neil at one of Wentbridge House's Wedding Showcases and you know when you meet someone and feel like you could have been mates forever well that's it, these guys were awesome and so much fun on the pre wedding shoot and on the wedding day.

I started in the morning at Wentbridge House for all the girly getting ready vibes and the weather was absolutely spot on for their outdoor wedding (love outdoor weddings in the natural light), spending time capturing all the make up, hair and all the small details that go into planning your big day before heading down to see the guys buzzing about trying not to look too nervous, tbf Neil was a cool character and such a good laugh!

The ceremony was outside inside the folly and after we spent time capturing group shots, couple shots and general bridal party shots before I had some time with Becky & Neil in the gorgeous Wentbridge House grounds, I also knew the eve light would be epic so I was getting them back out later in the eve for some more B&G shots PLUS I got the new Drone out for some aerial shots of the grounds

Becky & Neil you were absolute legends and you made the wedding day so much more enjoyable and fun just as it should be

Wedding Photographer West Yorkshire - Courtney & James

In April (seems ages ago now, where does the time go) I was shooting Courtney & James wedding celebrations at a local church then they were going back to a teepee set up at a local venue (as that's all sadly) that was allowed during these strange times.

I started at Courtneys with all the girls getting ready and the weather really looked great. James (the groom) stopped by also so I took the opportunity to get a few shots of him with his guys outside the house (curtains closed so the bride and groom didn't see each other)

It was great after such a long time plus not very many weddings to get back to some wedding fun and I must say Courtney & James and ALL their family and friends made the day so much easier so thanks guys x

The church was virtually round the corner and everyone had to wear a mask throughout the ceremony :-/ and there was only 15 guests allowed inside the church.

I managed to get some shots outside the church and also some bride and groom stuff before I got Courtney & James in my car to take them to some open fields for some more shots then headed to the teepee for drinks and speeches

Pre Wedding Photography West Yorkshire

Earlier today I met up with the absolutely mental and super fun couple that is (drum roll please) Heidi & Dan at their home to go through some wedding info for their upcoming wedding before we headed off literally round the corner to the church to just wander around in the gorgeous morning summer vibes and get some natural & fun pics

Heidi & Dan just made it easy and there was lots of interaction and a little direction from me, I just love these guys and soooo cant wait for the wedding day!

London Street Photography

Well I really hope you guys are enjoying this gorgeous weather we are having? Last weekend we went down south to London (love London) and armed with the Panasonic TZ100 I wanted to get some natural street photography, the TZ100 is so small and allows me to be discrete and to capture shots I would otherwise miss using the Nikons, the TZ100 also shoots in RAW so defo its a great camera with a fab optical zoom.

We stayed 3 nights and also whilst there witnessed the demonstrations all about the lockdown where the MSM said there were 100 ish folk there, seriously it was more like 1 million! I really do love London and will visit regular plus we had the added benefit that it was an awesome weekend bank holiday style weather wise!

Wentbridge House Pre Wedding Photography

Back last Sunday to the magical Wentbridge House to hook up with Becky & Neil for another Pre Wedding Shoot (I have sooooo missed it)

I met Becky & Neil at one of Wentbridge House's wedding showcases where we just seemed to click and chat about anything and everything, I think we defo have the same sense of humour and I just love fun couples that are always up for a laugh.

The grounds around Wentbridge House always just really do look great and Brian the gardener is a total legend we love him! After a little chat with Becky & Neil we wandered all around the grounds and village before sitting down outside to go through wedding day info and to make some notes for group pics etc

Pre Wedding Photography at Wentbridge House

Well it was so good to be back to a double weekend of pre wedding shoots last weekend and starting with Jess and Louis at the gorgeous Wentbridge House last Saturday, the sun was shining and the birds were singing.

Jess and Louis are a super fun couple (just what we love at Image-I-Nation Photography (no dull faces here). I always like to have a little chat before we start but I could defo tell with these guys they were buzzing for it and I was going to really enjoy this time (don't I always)

We wandered around the fab gardens at Wentbridge House before Jess & Louis got changed and then explored around the village (love all around the village outside the grounds as much as inside)

After some time shooting we all sat down outside in the beautiful weather to go through info and get some times and ideas wrote down for the wedding day

Property Photographer Leeds

Well the start of 2021 and what a great start with a super busy month of January (minus a few days for snow) and February is looking as busy if not busier! #lovewhatido

With 40 ish jobs already in the diary for next week I thought I would write a new blog post whilst I got some time, I really do appreciate all the agents that continue to use me to shoot their property photos and last week (plus most of Jan) I got to visit some gorgeous properties (see for yourself below)

Thanks to Alex Christian Estate Agents (new one on board) plus Northwood in Leeds, Aspire Properties and numerous branches of William H Brown and Reeds Rains plus others.

I had a meeting with a few more agents in January too so hopefully they will come on board in the near future ?
