Hoyle Court Wedding Photographer - Nanci & Brian

Yesterday I was back at the hidden gem of a wedding venue at Hoyle Court in Baildon for Nanci & Brians wedding and what a fun & fab day it was! Lots of awesome people and super friendly with loads of banter #perfect

I met up with Nanci & the girls early morning at the hair salon in Saltaire village before we all headed off down the road for make up. After some time with the girls I headed over to Brian and the guys at Brians parents to see them all topping up the hip flasks 😆

A 1968 Merc was the order of the day for transport and at 50 years old it really did sound sweet and took all the guys over to Hoyle Court before heading back to Nanci's where I was after I had spent some time with the guys. All the gorgeous Bridesmaids set off first before the car headed back to collect Nanci & her cool music loving Dad!

I arrived at Hoyle Court with the Bridesmaids to catch some shots of family & friends arriving in the glorious weather outside. Brian even tried to take his mind off being nervous by trying out his hula hoop skills (needs practice)

After the ceremony I encouraged everybody outside in the gorgeous private grounds to the rear of Hoyle Court where canopies were being offered before I proceded to get as many fun & formal shots in the time allowed

The main reception room really did look great with such a big space too for the band to set up later to totally rock the night away. Speeches were after the meal and I always use this time to check through what I had and defo loving the fun & relaxed vibe and knew I had some great images.

After the speeches and reception I got Nanci & Brian to have a little walk around the exterior of Hoyle Court with me to create some fun & dramatic B&G shots before we headed back into the grounds for a few more before I set up the super wide photobooth backdrop inside

Massive thanks to Jonny for bobbing over and setting up the laptop and printer so we could offer 9 by 6 inch prints from the photobooth, everybody loved this idea and a few comments said the backdrop was fab as we really can get awesome crazy photobooth style group shots up to 10 plus people.

Some highlights below from Nanci & Brians fun filled wedding day at Hoyle Court

Enjoy

Weetwood Hall Wedding Photographer - Becky & Danny

The 2nd of a double wedding weekend last weekend at Weetwood Hall with Becky & Danny on the Royal Wedding Day (ours was better, but i did watch the highlights when I got home) 👊

I have to say straight away how awesome and friendly all the staff were at Weetwood Hall were especially Chloe who was running the wedding, well done guys keep up the good work!

The weather was absolutely lovely and the sun was all around (that sounds like a song), but I knew the grounds at Weetwood Hall had lots of shade for pics (nothing worse on a hot sunny day than no shade)

I started in one of the double rooms in Weetwood Hall and Becky had the Royal Wedding on TV so kept sneaking a few glances to see how the royals were doing (everybody wanted to see Meghan's dress right)

After some time with Becky & the girls I nipped off downstairs to get some shots of the ceremony & reception room all looking fab and colourful plus Danny was arriving and trying to not look too nervous so I stayed around and caught up with him and also got some of the guests arriving.

After the ceremony we headed just outside onto the gardens and after the kissing & congrats shots I arranged a main group shot before getting some formal & fun stuff with all the guests (defo made a lot harder though due to the fact that after some man flu my voice was almost non existent and I sounded like a Dalek (Dr WHO)

Defo a fab day with everybody and thanks again to all the friendly Weetwood Hall staff for making Becky & Danny's wedding super special

Below we have some highlights chosen randomly for the previews from our Royal Wedding with the gorgeous Becky & Danny

Enjoy

Wentbridge House Wedding Photographer - Sarah & Matt

The first of a double wedding weekend last Friday with Sarah & Matt at Wentbridge House and the weather really was looking great! I think summer is defo here guys? 🌞

I started early morning with Sarah & her girls getting ready in one of the rooms upstairs in the new build area of Wentbridge House with the beautiful sun shining down on the gorgeous grounds as Brian the Gardener prepped the wedding outside by laying all the chairs out (always love outdoor weddings with all the natural light and space to move about)

As Matt and his guys were also getting ready at Wentbridge I could get some shots of them as they were literally next door :-)

Just before the ceremony I made my way downstairs as all the guests were gathered outside and managed to get a few shots before they were all ushered onto the stripy lawn to await Sarah's big entrance!

After the ceremony we nipped off in the car to get a few shots and I couldn't resist stopping at one of the yellow fields I keep seeing when driving around, love all the colour.
When I arrived back from a little car trip I set about organising as many formal & fun wedding shots as poss starting with couple shots, group shots etc

Matt is a really big Star Wars fan so later in the eve Paul from The Yorkshire Wedding company had arranged for him a surprise battle with Darth Vader and lightsabers, oooo the tension :-)

Absolutely FAB day and thanks to all the fab Wentbridge staff especially Mark running the wedding

Below we have some wedding highlights, all images have been randomly selected from the full previews

Wentbridge House Wedding Photography - Natalie & Andrew

Last weekend we were back at one of our fav Wedding Venues in West Yorkshire at Wentbridge House (always feel like home here too as we are really familiar with loads of fab places all around the grounds plus around the village just outside Wentbridge House)

I arrived nice and early with Jordan (he was on video duty) and hooked up with all the girls upstairs getting ready plus one of the cutest flower girls ever! (tbf all the kids at this wedding have to be some of the cutest and best behaved kids ever)

We always try to blend in at the start of the wedding and really do love the build up with all the getting ready fun vibe, all the girls really were super organised too and it was really nice to see Nicky from Bling Bridal getting everybody sorted out with hair and make up (love the airbrush tool)

Danny (one of our photographers) arrived around 11am and after seeing him wandering around the grounds through the upstairs window I popped down to sync our camera clocks (really important as we sort images as date shot so any time differences in clocks really is not good, plus OCD alert I have to get it to the exact second)

The weather was spot on with loads of cloud around to diffuse the sun and it did look decent all day, bonus!

Natalie & Andrew were celebrating their ceremony outside under the folly in the gorgeous well kept grounds at Wentbridge House so gorgeous weather really was welcome :-)
Outdoor weddings are great too as you have lots of space to move around plus you can use all the available light.

After the ceremony we always like to let guests congratulate the couple before we jump into and planned shots, lots of natural vibes and smiley faces plus canopies & chilled drinks for everybody before we arranged some group shots, formal, family & defo lots of FUN!

We planned some shots of the Bride & Groom after the reception meal & speeches as the time just really does seem to run away.

In the eve we set up our super wide photobooth backdrop and carried on the fun in the Leatham Suite. massive thanks to everybody at Nat & Andy's wedding for being so welcoming and FUN

Below we have some highlights that have been randomly selected from over 2000 wedding previews (we give you more choice)

Chevin Lodge Engagement Photography - Beth & Alex

Earlier today I met up with Beth & Alex at Chevin Lodge for a Pre Shoot/Meeting and it was nice to be back at this fantastic venue, first time here a few years ago, love all the log cabins and woodland with such a lovely rustic and relaxed feel defo a great place for a chilling weekend away!

What a fun couple Beth & Alex are, after the first 5 mins they really did get into it and I had Alex trying to bunny hop over some sort of hurdle, I really could see how these guys were in sync with each other and as we wandered around getting some shots whilst a few ladies were looking at us in their white robes chilling around one of the hot tubs I think we defo gave them something to view :-)

Love love love our pre shoot meetings and so good when we don't have any time constraints like a wedding day does have, if only we could get the time on the wedding day how cool would that be?

Below we have some highlights from earlier with the crazy fun loving couple Beth & Alex

Enjoy

Wentbridge House Engagement Photography - Nichola & Sam

Yesterday eve I met up with Nichola & Sam at Wentbridge House to get some nice and relaxed engagement pics plus go through wedding info for their upcoming wedding. The weather was perfect and we had some really beautiful eve light so made the most of it by walking around the village just outside the grounds of Wentbridge House.

I always like to start off slowly as most couples feel a bit unsure what they should do but a bit of chat from me and finding a bit more about them (they met on MSN if anybody remembers that?) and a little direction they really soon get into it :-)

We tripped off around the village after a few shots by the entrance of Wentbridge House and as a Highly Recommended Wentbridge House Wedding Photographer I really am quite familiar with loads of fab spots to create some really nice relaxed (and fun) shots for the couple.

We really do always love our pre shoots and recommend every couple to take advantage of them as they are free in every single package

Some highlights from last night below with the sassy Nichola & Tractor Loving Sam (sorry about the music choice in the slideshow guys I couldn't resist)

Fern's Christening - St Marys Church Wyke

After a full day wedding last Saturday (highlights up soon) I tripped off to St Marys Church in Wyke Bradford early Sunday morning to capture Ferns Christening as I had been contacted by her mum Rebecca last week and she mentioned the vicar has said no photos of the service so after a quick call from me and introduced myself I sorted it so I could capture the Christening service (moments to cherish when Fern gets a little older)

I arrived in time to capture the family & friends arriving and everybody did look very smart, the weather was gorgeous and the sun was defo shining down (looking for the shade for pics though)

As everybody made their way into the church I positioned myself near the front area so I could capture all the action, the vicar lady was so lovely and she let all the small children fill up the water in the christening font

After the service I managed to get some shots at the altar and outside too

Below we have some randomly selected highlights from the PREVIEWS HERE

Kim Wilde - Here Come The Aliens Part 2 - Lowry

Kim Wilde's Here Come The Aliens Tour a show so good we went twice is what it was.

After the show in Halifax (click HERE to view) which we blogged a few weeks ago we loved it soooo much that when we had opportunity for some tickets for the last show at Lowry we jumped at the chance.

Plus more pics with the fab Panasonic TZ100 shooting in RAW with its 1 inch sensor, an awesome camera for these type of situations as you are defo NOT allowed to take a DSLR in 👀 the zoom range of this compact pocket camera is amazing plus it has full controls for iso, aperture, shutter etc

We drove down to Lowry in plenty of time and stopped in at Nandos just over the road (first time in Nandos for us) for something to eat before the show, who should walk in and sit opposite us but both drummers from the show (i was too scared to go up to ask for a selfie with them though doh)

We also met a few friends down at Lowry that we had heard had also got tickets around Mandy Wilde's Merchandise store (got a selfie with Mandy though waheeey, see bottom of pics)

Absolutely LOVED the show and the new album Here Come The Aliens every single track is fantastic! Massive shout out to ALL the crew, band and Kim Wilde fan out there

Below we have some shots from the show enjoy
