Lifestyle Photography I Ward Family Shoot

Last Sunday I met up with a fun loving family in Goole for a Lifestyle Family shoot at their very own (in the process) barn conversion, wow check out all the land Kev! They were currently living in a mobile home (looked fab too inside) on their land as the barn conversion was in the process and we had absolutely stacks of places for awesome fun pics all around, bit like a kid in a sweet shop really!

After a quick brew and a chat to get to know them a little bit better I popped some wellies on and we just wandered around the garden area before moving in and around the barn conversion area just making memories with this gorgeous family

Wentbridge House Wedding Photography I Amy & Jordan

Back at the fab Wentbridge House a few weeks ago with the fun loving Amy & Jordan for their mid week wedding in the gorgeous autumn vibe all around, how awesome is autumn for shooting weddings?

I started early morning with Amy and all the girls getting ready upstairs in the new rooms overlooking the fab grounds before Jordan arrived and i went down to get some time with all the guys (looking forward to seeing Ralphie again too (their cute doggie) as he was coming for the ceremony)

The wedding ceremony was in the Leatham Suite and i loved the autumn theme and the lovely colours used to decorate it. I think the star of the ceremony was defo Ralphie though (sorry guys).
After the ceremony I always like to get the whole wedding party to stay outside as long as possible to allow me to capture lots of memories in the time allowed (never seems to be enough).

It really is always so nice to come back to Wentbridge House too as we really are very familiar with all the staff and know lots of places to create fab pics in the grounds plus all around the village

After the reception I also managed to get some lowlight night time shots with Amy & Jordan in and around the folly too then it was setting up our S U P ER W I D E photobooth backdrop and captured all the dancing till late into the eve with the legend that is Winston the DJ, love a good dance off too 😊

315 Lepton Wedding Photographer - Gemma & Scott

Lovely Autumn weather for Gemma & Scott's wedding at 315 Lepton a few weeks ago with gorgeous colours all around the grounds when I arrived to hook up with all the girls getting ready (always love to catch this part to build the story of the day)

I shot Gemma & Scott's pre shoot up at Castle Hill and was really hoping I got a chance to get them back up there later on in the day for some gorgeous sunset wedding pics too 😁

The day really was lots of fun and the sun was shining (I was always looking for the shade to keep that nice diffused light but sometimes there wasn't anywhere boohoo). I always encourage the wedding party to try to stay in one area when we are doing the pics as it really makes things a lot easier rather than running after trying to find people and everybody really did help out with this so thanks guys!

The ceremony was at 315 Lepton too which meant there was no travelling which gave us more time for pics (never enough time)

After the speeches and reception I got Gemma & Scott  (and assistant in the form of Kyran Gemmas Brother) in the car and tripped off to Castle Hill and as expected we really did get some epic sunset  shots though I did fancy staying a bit longer 😊

Lots of fun & laughter and a dance off to Donald wheres your Trousers (don't ask) in the eve

Coniston Hotel Wedding Photographer - Carol & Lee

A few weeks ago I was back at Coniston Hotel for Carol & Lee's wedding. I started early morning with Zoe Ann 2nd shooting and the weather looked well a bit grim tbf it was slightly drizzly and the sky was totally grey (insert sad face)

This defo didn't stop the fun though and as we arrived we headed up to check in with all the girls getting ready (big shout out to the friendly lady running the wedding for being so helpful) before giving them some time as we both went down about 1 hour before the ceremony to see Lee trying to not look nervous.

Coniston Hotel ceremony room has a really lovely rustic feel with open wooden beams above so throughout the ceremony as we had 2 photographers we could cover a lot more angles with Zoe Ann at the back capturing everybody coming in and Kev at the front throughout the service.

After the service everybody was ushered into the conservatory area (as the weather really was quite bad and defo would be hard to get everybody outside though I did get a 5 min break so rounded everyone up, quickly outside for a big group shot as I knew it was now or never and we wouldn't get another chance)

We captured lots of shots inside the conservatory area before everyone entered the reception room to enjoy the speeches and tasty food and we sat down in the main room overlooking the lake for some food and to check through our shots so far

After the speeches they had organised for us to go down to the lake (it had stopped raining for a bit at this point) and we all hopped into the Coniston Land Rover and drove down to get some shots by the lake area (great spot for pics)

As we retired we set up our super wide photobooth backdrop inside the conservatory area to get some crazy fun type photobooth images and this worked really well too as the dance floor was literally in the adjoining room

Massive fun all day and thanks again to Zoe Ann for assisting

Hollins Hall Wedding Photography - Carol & Darren

A few weeks ago I was back at the fab Hollins Hall in Baildon for Carol & Darrens FUN Wedding. I started just down the road from us in sunny Cleckheaton to capture all the girly getting ready vibe at Carol & Darrens home before I headed up the road to St Lukes Church on the main road through Cleckheaton to see Darren and the guys waiting patiently outside in the glorious sunshine (really was hoping for some clouds later to give me some of that good light)
A quick chat with the really friendly vicar too and all was good as we waited for the arrival of the bridesmaids and Carol in the gorgeous wedding cars.

After the ceremony (another big shout out to the fab vicar) I tried to capture as many shots just outside the church before everyone headed over to Hollins Hall to carry on the fun in the sun!

Carol & Darren had the most amazing (and friendly) band outside singing for everybody too whilst I cracked on with some more shots like you do before as always time seemed to run away with us and everybody was ushered upstairs to be seated for the reception meal and speeches. Doesn't always happen but I got the full meal (gawwgeous food) and got chatting to a couple of the band Lizy & the Crescendos (looking forward to seeing them again at Jeremys in Brighouse next Sat)

The eve party was in a different room downstairs and after the meal many guests made their way downstairs to chill in the bar/lounge area whilst I took Carol & darren for a little walk around the gorgeous grounds to get a few shots of them (never like to turn this into a too structured photoshoot much prefer the relaxed fun approach)

In the eve (i think i am well known for it now) it was defo a time for some kind of dance off so a quick chat with lizy (the singer) and the fab DJ with all his gadgets (love the mic with voice changer I could have had hours of fun with that) we had a rap battle, yes a rap battle!!!

Fab day and night and below we have some randomly selected images form the previews that have been online for a while now

Enjoy

K x
