Wentbridge House Wedding Photography - Jade & Josh

Last weekend we were back at the gorgeous Wentbridge House (love it here as we know most of the staff and really are familiar with stacks of places for fab shots in and around the grounds plus all around the village of Wentbridge (a fav being our little white studio type wall up the road)

We started (me and jordan (video)) early morning capturing all the getting ready vibes and the weather was absolutely PERFECT! Not kidding, the temperature was spot and and the light just right with no harsh sun to cause squinting and awful shadows!

The ceremony was inside Wentbridge House in the Leatham Suite and it looked amazing and dressed beautiful (love the white runner carpet down the middle)

I also must give a massive shout to the registrars (wish they were all this friendly) they really were super friendly and made the ceremony much more enjoyable #thanks

After the ceremony I encouraged everyone outside to carry on the fun and they also had canopies and drinks so just gave them some time to interact and to capture some natural shots before I set up a main group plus went through some family stuff, couple shots etc (i really do love this time and the more time we get the more shots we can capture, I do know some wedding photographers dont enjoy this time but really I do love it and always like to make it as fun and natural as possible)

The reception was in the Chrystal Suite and they all had afternoon tea (yes we got some too)

Fantastic day and below we have some randomly selected shots from Jade & Josh's previews HERE

Enjoy

Photography Show 2019 - NEC Birmingham

On Tuesday rather early I must add (5.30am) we set off down to the N.E.C in Birmingham to the Photography Show. The reason for the early set off was to get there before the crowds and to be some of the first to enter the halls. The show is on from Sat to Tues and Tuesday is defo the best day to go, its so much easier to not beat the crowds and be able to walk freely and actually look at stuff, we also did some of the talks, loved the Loxley Wedding & Portrait Stage with talks from Kate Hopewell Smith, Steve Neeson and the legend that is Jason Lanier!

I took the Panasonic TZ100 camera down for portability mainly and to be able to capture a few images to showcase the day. Awesome day and lots of fun with one of our second photographers Danny, we left literally as the show was closing about 4.45pm (where did the time go)

Below we have a few images from the Photography Show 2019

Wentbridge House Engagement Photography I Amanda & Marc

Yesterday I met up with Amanda & Marc at Wentbridge House (I was praying for decent weather all week) to go though any info for their upcoming wedding and to get some nice relaxed and defo FUN shots of them all around the gorgeous grounds.

They had been sorting out the final wedding info with Chloe at Wentbridge House when I arrived so before getting some shots we had a catch up in the Brasserie and went through any info and ideas for family pics

The weather really was awesome and the sky was super blue so thanks whoever heard my prayers 😂. I absolutely love our pre shoots and it really gives me time to see what the couple are like and I have to say Amanda & Marc are crazier than me (is that even possible)

Fab afternoon and below we have some highlights from yesterday with Amanda & Marc at Wentbridge House

Enjoy

Aston Hall Pre Wedding I Chelsie & Jordan

Earlier today (in-between the rain) I met up with Chelsie & Jordan at a new venue for us Aston Hall in Sheffield (loads of places for fab pics here)
As I arrived I caught sight of the smiley couple in the reception area and we decided to get a few pics first before the rain came down (it was drizzling very slightly at this point)

We explored the grounds and I really did some great ideas for the wedding day with lots of areas to make great pics (weather permitting of course). This was also the first time I had actually met with Jordan as he is in the army so only comes home at certain times.

Absolutely awesome fun loving couple and must say they actually made it so easy today just being theirselves, really looking forward to the wedding guys and below we have some highlights from earlier with Chelsie & Jordan at Aston Hall

Enjoy

Oulton Hall Wedding Photography I Sarah & Craig

Yesterday we had our absolutely fab and FUN loving couple Sarah & Craig's wedding at Oulton Hall in Leeds (awesome venue). Sarah and Craig won their dream wedding totally free from 6 couples selected in the Radio Aire Cash For Kids Charity. They managed to raise over £6000 and lots of fab suppliers plus the stunning Oulton Hall came together to give them a wedding day to remember!

I started early morning with all the girls getting ready upstairs at Oulton Hall and it was nice to get a wedding planner to make the day run super smooth (why doesn't everyone have one? Defo recommend Penelope Jayne, she was there early morning till late in the eve)

After some time with the girls I made my way downstairs to catch Craig arriving A Team style in the A Team van and some grandparents getting treated to shiny VW camper van supplied by All Loved Dub.

The weather was great, I had perfect light and there was no sign of rain all day. Everyone really was up for a laugh and I knew this was going to be a fab day (thanks guys).
The ceremony was downstairs at Oulton Hall in one of the rooms next to the reception room, after which I encouraged everyone outside which enabled me to get as many shots of couples, families, friends etc in the time allowed (where does the time go)

Speeches were after the meal so we were treated to some food (always nice) before I captured the speeches. After the speeches Sarah just nipped back upstairs to get touched up with make up before we headed outside for some creative low light shots (nice to get some fresh air too)

Below we have some randomly selected highlights from Sarah & Craig's previews HERE

Enjoy
