Danby Castle Wedding Photographer

Earlier today I met up with Jodie & George at Millennium Green in Emley Huddersfield for their Pre Wedding shoot/meeting, they are getting married at Danby Castle in Whitby this month and I am defo looking forward to it as its another new wedding venue I've not been to.

Jodie & George want the wedding day to be fun and natural (just my vibe) and after checking out the Danby Castle web site it looks a fab place with lots of great places for photos.

Ripley Castle Pre Wedding

Yesterday I met up with Liz & Alex at the amazing Ripley Castle in Harrogate for their Pre Wedding shoot, as i was driving there the rain was bouncing off the roads so I was praying I got some time when it stopped, as I arrived it was dry around Ripley Castle so a quick chat with the wedding planner as I waiting for Liz & Alex to get some aerial shots with the drone.

After 10 or so minutes Alex text me to say they had arrived and I could tell the rain was defo on the way so a quick grab of the Nikon D780 with 70-200 lens and we all just wandered around the grounds having fun and getting so nice relaxed and fun shots of this cute couple, defo looking forward to the wedding and Ripley Castle looks amazing!!!

After we all got soaking wet (massive thanks to Liz & Alex for braving the rain and especially as Liz had her hair done the morning) we sat down in the coffee shop and went through any info and ideas

Wentbridge House Pre Wedding Shoot

Earlier today in-between a few property photography jobs I met up with Leah & Liam at Wentbridge House to get some nice natural and fun pics and also to meet up about a month before their upcoming wedding to go through info, timings and any ideas they had for their special day!

The weather did stay decent tbf and they also brought their cute doggie along for some photos, he absolutely loved it haha!

I always love meeting up with couples about a month or so to the wedding day as it also gets us both familiar with each other, some couples may book a few years in advance so I defo recommend the pre shoot!

Moorlands Halifax Wedding Photographer

On Monday 15th April (my actual wedding anniversary day) I was at Moorlands in Halifax for the wedding of Laura & Sam.

We started off about 10 minutes away from the venue in the loveliest Air B&B getting everyone ready (this is also where the Bride & Groom stayed the night).

The weather could defo have been better but hey you just have to go with what it is on a wedding day, that's one thing beyond my control, it was very windy and wet most of the day 😢

All the wedding party though didn't let this stop them enjoying the day and inside Moorlands we found a great spot around the stage area to shoot some family pics

What a fab day and as always (or as much as I can) we manage to get a dance off between the girls and boys (always a fav and get some great shots)

Wentbridge House Pre Wedding Shoot

Last week I met up with Siobhan & Sam for their Pre Wedding shoot at Wentbridge House in between property jobs, how fun were this couple? Defo my kinda folk!

If I had to describe basically what happens at a Pre Wedding shoot? We just wander around, me giving some ideas and directions and I capture some nice, relaxed and fun pics with the awesome 70-200 lens PLUS we can connect nearer to the wedding date which in turn makes you feel so much better and not as stressed about being the centre of attention on your wedding day! Trust me!

Halifax Wedding Photographer I Pre Wedding Shoot

Stacks of Fun yesterday with Laura, Sam & Cassie at Shibden Park for their Pre Wedding Shoot, I always include these in every package and its a great way to alleviate any nerves for the big day with getting photos, my style is very relaxed and fun

The wedding is at The Moorlands and I have been informed I have a seat in the reception and I am defo having the steak pie (if you know you know)
