Property Photographer Yorkshire I Property Photography

Recently we really have had some gorgeous Property Photography shoots around the Yorkshire area and especially the Ossett WF5 area as we are the preferred photographer for a well known Estate Agents in Ossett.

We get notified of new jobs on a phone app and as soon as they come in we try to book the appointment to suit the key holder or agent, a few are empty properties but most we arrange with the home owner. Also at each property we have to do a quick floor plan and measure up so to make this a lot easier we have invested in a Leica Laser Measure and also recently introduced an Apple Pencil doing the floor plans on iPad Air 3 using Adobe Sketch app, this way we can transfer the finished plan to our one drive and add it to the upload when we send the images.

We really do enjoy shooting Property Photography in the Yorkshire area and so much so we are in the process of creating a web site dedicated to our Property Photography (currently we just have a page on our web site)
Love shooting weddings but its defo a nice balance now between wedding photography and property photography.

Some recent Property Photography shoots around the Yorkshire regions below

We really can't stress enough how proper quality professional property images will get your home sold super quick as it gets buyers through the door and the property will sell itself

If you are an Estate Agent or literally somebody with your house on the market or thinking about selling? Do you want quality images? Just getting touch

Oakwell Hall Engagement Photography I Laura & Matt

Yesterday I met up with Laura & Matt at Oakwell Hall for a Pre Wedding Meeting/Shoot, fab day as well in the gorgeous eve light after the horrible weather lately too. Isn't it meant to be summer?
I caught Laura & Matt walking up to meet me with Rocky (their absolutely lovely and super friendly sausage dog)

Literally our pre wedding shoots are absolutely nothing at all the get stressed about and we always include and recommend them win every package as I am sure you will enjoy and hopefully like some of the pics too! This just makes you feel soooooooo much better on the actually wedding day too. The pre shoot is just fun and very relaxed, we never get as much time with a couple as we do at the pre shoot (if only)

Just wandering round Oakwell Hall in the lovely eve light and having fun with Laura, Matt (who I could describe as Jim Carrey at his best, liar liar being a fav film of ours)
It really was nice to get to know Laura & Matt (also rocky) more as this was actually the first time I had met Matt too 😂 and Laura did mention when she met me she knew I would get on with Matt and she loved the fun side!

Anyway I defo could waffle on how much I enjoyed last night with Laura & Matt (and rocky) but I suppose you wanna see some pics right?

Below we have some highlights from yesterday in Oakwell Hall with Laura, Matt & Rocky!

Enjoy

Coniston Hotel Wedding Photographer I Ashleigh & Graeme

Last weekend I was back at the gorgeous Coniston Hotel in Skipton North Yorkshire for Ashleigh & Graeme's FUN wedding. Ashleigh & Graeme actually saw me years ago at Claire & Stephen's wedding at Hazelwood Castle over 5 years ago now and they loved our FUN style of Wedding Photography.

I started early morning in the conference room upstairs with all the girls getting ready and after looking at the weather report everyday for the whole week as we had had some real wet weather to say it was JUNE! #whereissummer I was praying it would stay nice, so far at this point the weather and light was perfect.
Graeme was buzzing about the hotel in the morning too and I loved the jackets Graeme and his guys where wearing (we love being different) so I managed the odd shot of him as he wandered around trying not to look too nervous (didn't look nervous at all tbf)

The ceremony was in the restaurant part and always love this space at Coniston with the open wood beams and barn type feel, the room looked fab!

After the ceremony I always like to encourage some interaction with the Bride & Groom and at Coniston Hotel the conservatory area is literally the next room to the ceremony room (where I set our super wide photobooth backdrop up later in the eve) with gorgeous natural light streaming in through all the big glass windows and roof. After some time getting some congrats type shots I got all the wedding party outside to get a main group shot and confetti (at this point it was starting to drizzle arghhhhhh but as I knew the weather could not ease up I just kept the energy up and got the shots before everyone rushed back inside)

I used the ceremony room for some family shots with a nice white backdrop but also knew the light with the downlighters wasn't the best so was hoping we could re create some later outside in the natural light (always best)

Speeches were before the reception meal and after getting some speeches shots I spent some time in the restaurant getting treated to Haddock & Chips and Mushy Peas (awesome and thanks guys) plus also as I knew some of the staff from previous weddings one of the ladies said she would fetch me a pudding! #result

The rain did stop for a while later in the eve before the night do so I used some time to take Ashleigh & Graeme to the top part of the grounds overlooking the lake and we got the most amazing sunset!

Absolutely FAB DAY with lots of fun & laughter and really loved every minute guys thanks so much for letting me be a part of your special day

Literally over 95% of all the images were shots with natural light (apart from the photobooth ones and dance floor and the odd creative flash shot outside, I much prefer the natural light and using awesome Nikon DSLR's enables me to capture lots of images without you being aware. Currently using Nikon D3s (amazing camera) and Nikon D750 (also amazing) with 24-70 F2.8, 70-200 F2.8 16-35 F4

Below I have some randomly selected images from the full set of previews which are now available to view online HERE (password protected)

Wentbridge House Wedding Photography I Katie & Phil

Last week on the Sunday for the 3rd of 3 weddings I was back at the FAB Wentbridge House for Katie & Phil's FUN Wedding!

I started early morning with Katie getting ready in Room 61 (great to see Elizabeth again from Glam by Elizabeth Daisy getting all the girls ready and overlooking the gorgeous grounds and I was looking forward to their wedding  too as they had planned the ceremony outside in the folly, so really hoping it wasn't going to rain 😏 as i dont think the ceremony would have gone ahead outside but they do set up the Leatham Suite just in case but always prefer natural light and outside is great!

Phil arrived mid morning and was buzzing about trying not to look too nervous as he practised his speech and chatted to all the guests and family arriving. I bobbed down to give Katie some time and this is also a good time to capture the action with people buzzing about arriving and getting to know each other before I headed back upstairs to catch Katie looking stunning in her dress.

Yeeeey the ceremony was defo outside and the rain kept off all day as Katie made her way downstairs to see all the guests seated and eagerly awaiting her arrival being given away by her mum.

After the ceremony its great with outdoor weddings as everyone is already outdoors and it just makes it a little easier to crack on with pics, always like to catch some congrats type shots first before setting up a main group and confetti and then into some couple shots and family stuff as well as stacks of fun!

The reception was held inside the Chrystal Suite and it looked fab as ever as everyone was seated and Katie & Phil get announced in like celebrities 😀. One lady guest hadn't managed to turn up so I got a full meal with PUDDING! Thanks guys

After the reception I spent a little time with Katie & Phil in the grounds at Wentbridge House and also just using a little outside as I have got to know some really great places for pics over the years!

The wedding day really was FUN and Katie & Phil didn't want anything too serious (our kind of wedding) and below we have some highlights from another FUN wedding day (fun wedding days are the best)

Property Photographer Wakefield I Property Photography West Yorkshire

Over the last few weeks (in amongst weddings) we really have been super busy (and loving it) with property photography all around our home town of Wakefield West Yorkshire and now we are getting a few estate agents on board as their main photographer. 😀

I really do feel that proper professional property images make your home stand out and as they get seen in the estate agents window and online it gets potential buyers through the door and then literally the property will sell itself.

As I get more confident with property photography I find myself looking at Estate Agents windows and online on their web site and some of the images I see really (in my opinion for what its worth) do NOT show the property in the best light, with very blown out skies, weird converging verticals (bit of on OCD thing with me now part from the odd few where its nigh on impossible to keep the verticals errr vertical)

We are getting orders most days now and really enjoy booking appointments and looking to see where people live (went to one the other day and swear the homeowner should have been an interior designer it looked that good)

Recently we have also had some great feedback too (check below the images

Some recent properties below we have had the pleasure to shoot and get to know the homeowners briefly

If you are an Estate Agent and would love to collaborate with us please GET IN TOUCH we are quite friendly too!

Rogerthorpe Manor Pre Wedding I Hannah & Hayden

I met up with the fun loving Hannah & Hayden earlier today at Rogerthorpe Manor to get some relaxed pics and to go through wedding info. When I arrived I saw Rogerthorpe Manor were holding a wedding open day but after a quick check in with the friendly staff it was totally fine to use the grounds for pics, the weather was absolutely perfect too (if only we can order this for the wedding day)

I always love to meet our couples before the wedding day as I guarantee (hopefully) it makes you feel so much more relaxed on the actually wedding day, and as we have a pre shoot included in every package why not just come have some fun with us?

After some time in the gorgeous grounds and fab weather we sat down outside to go through any idea and wedding info, Hannah & Hayden did mention they didn't want anything too serious! (sounds like our kind of wedding guys)

Below are some highlights from earlier with this fun couple at the gorgeous Rogerthorpe Manor

Hatfeild Hall Wedding Photography I Janine and Adam

Last Saturday for the 2nd of a triple wedding week I was shooting a wedding at a new venue in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire at Hatfeild Hall (yes thats how its spelt) based in the grounds of Normanton Golf Course with the fun loving couple Janine & Adam and all their FAB friends and family.

I started at Thorpe Park (gorgeous rooms) with Janine and her girls getting ready, the weather looked absolutely perfect and there was loads of clouds all around, just what I love and not harsh sunlight.
After some time with the girls and getting to know Janines awesome fun Dad #potter I set off to Hatfeild Hall to get some shots of Adam waiting patiently plus some guests arriving etc whilst also checking the ceremony room.

The ceremony room looked gorgeous as it was decorated with a nice backdrop to where they would sign the register and not in front of a window (shooting into windows isn't the best idea). After the ceremony I encouraged everyone outside in the beautiful lawned garden area and set about trying to capture as many guests, families and bridal party shots, I knew the weather was staying nice all day so always love to save Bride & Groom shots for early eve, plus we had the whole golf course to wander around with a water fountain down on one of the holes #perfect

Janine & Adam's wedding day defo was filled with laughter, fun and banter (the perfect wedding day for us). Everyone including the staff at Hatfeild Hall were so friendly and welcoming so HUGE thanks guys (thanks for feeding me too)

Below we have some randomly selected highlights from Janine & Adam's PREVIEWS

Property Photography Yorkshire I Property Photographer Wakefield

One thing we are loving is the introduction to Property Photography to our business a few months ago and now every day we are getting orders for property photography all around our home town of Wakefield West Yorkshire, we really love getting to see other peoples homes plus getting to know them a little as we get some interior and exterior shots of their properties.

We have got a few estate agents on board now in Ossett, Wakefield & Huddersfield and really do enjoy organising and shooting the property and getting to learn new ideas and techniques as we go.

Verticals are becoming a bit OCD to us now (we have an awesome photoshop technique and as a pro photographer ALWAYS shoot in RAW) and recently we have invested into a shiny new MacBook Pro to edit as we go whilst waiting around in between appointments.

Some recent property shoots we have been involved with are attached below

Thanks for viewing and please feel free to drop a LIKE on our newly developing Property Photography FACEBOOK Page HERE and get in touch if you want some real professional looking property images or maybe you are an Estate Agent and would like to collaborate?
