Waterton Park Wedding Photographer I Charlotte & Owen

Back at the end of September in the gorgeous AUTUMN vibe I was back at Waterton Park for Charlotte & Owen's absolutely awesome and super FUN wedding day.
As I arrived It did look a bit wet but it soon cleared up just in time for the photos all around the really well kept gardens.

I started early morning with the girls getting ready in the cottage area just outside of the main gates with plenty of room to move around too, it was a right little cosy hideaway!

The ceremony was inside in the main ceremony (said ceremony twice then) room and the registrars were really friendly (they aren't always like that) so I could capture as much as I wanted with minimal restrictions (love shooting in a storybook styleeeee)

As I mentioned earlier the rain had eased off after the ceremony and the light and blue sky was just perfect and I always encourage as many pics as possible in this time plus love love love the banter (provided mainly by goldie mick)

Such a fab day/night and Mrs Image-I-Nation got an invite in the eve so it was really nice to see her and we stayed till near the end (did put the camera away at some point) and if you know me you will know we always encourage a dance off, as this really does get fab pics to finish the night off

Below are some randomly selected pics from Charlotte & Owen's epic and super fun wedding day at Waterton Park

Enjoy

Wentbridge House Wedding Photographer I Nat & Dan

Back in the middle of September we were at one of our fav wedding venues in the West Yorkshire area Wentbridge House, and as we are a highly recommended wedding photographer for them we really do love coming back here and have got to know lots of great places for just fab wedding pics all around the well kept gardens!

I started early morning with Natalie & all the girls getting ready upstairs in one of the rooms overlooking the gardens with a nice big bay window for maximum light.

The wedding ceremony was inside the Leatham Suite (next door to the main Chrystal Suite room) and this is defo one of the more nicer civil ceremony rooms we have shot in as there is lots of light coming through where it matters most (on the bride & groom).

After the wedding ceremony I always encourage everyone outside and especially if its a nice day (as this was with some of the most gorgeous light seen) to carry on the celebrations, fun and use this time to capture as many shots of couples, families, parents etc etc as poss (the main challenge for me at this time is to keep ALL the wedding party outside so they can hear if they are needed rather than running back inside to the bar (if its a nice day this is just made a lot easier trust me)

After some time with everyone plus some Bride & groom shots (was also going to get some after the reception in the gorgeous eve light) I was told the reception room was ready so headed in to get some shots before everyone would be seated to wait for the arrival of Natalie & Dan.

Absolutely FAB & lots of fun day and thanks to Natalie & Dan for letting us share it with them

Below are some randomly selected highlights from over 1500 (password protected) previews (we give you more choice)

Enjoy

Property Photographer Yorkshire I Professional Property Photography

Been super busy recently shooting properties all around the Yorkshire area plus we got to set up our mobile studio in the offices of Boultons in Huddersfield, Kirkburton & Pontefract to get some new updated head shots for their web site about us page, great to meet all the smiley staff at the Boultons offices too, they all really looked like they really enjoyed what they did.

We also met up with Craig Miller from Craig Miller Joinery & Building services as we have shot a few recent developments they have worked on Craig got back in touch and asked me to attend one they had spent quite a few months developing, omg when I got there the place was amazing and the owners couldn't have been anymore down to earth.

We absolutely love shooting properties all over the Yorkshire area plus of course our fun weddings 😁

We shoot properties with a mixture of ambient (natural) light combined with speed lights and some photoshop techniques, adding a blue sky when required

We use a Nikon D750 with 24 megapixels, a manfrotto tripod with a geared 3 way head plus a remote to fire the camera (so nothing moves to get the best depth and sharpness especially when shooting at iso 200 and a really slow shutter speed)

Below are some recent property images plus some of the head shots using our mobile studio set up from the offices at Boultons

Enjoy

Wentbridge House Wedding Photographer I Melissa & James

Absolutely fab and stacks of FUN last weekend for Melissa & James's wedding at Wentbridge House

I started early morning at Wentbridge for some getting ready shots before heading off to Badsworth Church (in badsworth 😂) to be greeted by the loveliest smiley vicar lady (why cant all vicars be like that) she said I was ok to get what I needed and as long as I wasn't 'in her face' everything was good! #legend

After the ceremony we got a few shots and confetti outside the church before heading over to Wentbridge House to carry on the fun and laughter plus my job is to get as many shots as poss in this time as at winter weddings I am always conscious of the light and the lack of it later on in the day, I always think the hardest bit is trying to prise people away from the bar area but a bit of banter and they all played ball!!! (got a few comments later on too from some of the guests saying how they thought I was great and got people to listen, nice one guys)

Massive shout to Melissa & James you were fab and made the day such fun!

Here are just a handful of images whilst we go through the (nearly) 2000 previews

Enjoy

P.s massive shout to Olivia & Dan for today confirming booking their wedding with us in May 2021 at the fab Woodlands Leeds

P.p.s sorry for the lack of blog posts we have quite a few weddings to put on here we have been super busy shooting property photography as we recently introduced this to our business and really enjoying it!
