Property Photographer Yorkshire I Property Photography Yorkshire

Absolutely loving the recent introduction we have to our business in the form of Property Photography and so much so we now have a couple of branches of Estate Agents on board as their preferred photographers. We really do LOVE weddings but to keep our passion shining brightly as ever its important to diversify into other areas of photography and after a phone call around the back end of 2018 from a UK based business wanting to get us on their books for Property Photography in Yorkshire we really got quite excited at a new challenge and after a few properties sent to us they really loved our work (i think we must have been on trial initially)

The last few weeks has been super crazy with quite a few properties sent, we get to see some stunning homes plus just yesterday we received our very first 5 star feedback from a client! #wahoo

We have created a new page on our web site to showcase some property shoots we have been on and will try to keep this updated as we go

Below are a selection of some of our fav property photography images, they were all shot with natural light and using a simple editing process (see the screen recording below)

We are also thinking about getting a bit creative and introducing some flash mixed with ambient light into our property photography so watch this space

Like I said we still LOVE weddings but will be limiting our weddings to a set amount each year so if you are planning your wedding please GET IN TOUCH for availability.

We have over 12 weddings already booked for 2020

Coniston Hotel Engagement Photography I Ashleigh & Graeme

Earlier today (after yesterdays fun wedding with Amy & Daniel) I met up with Ashleigh & Graeme at Coniston Hotel in Skipton to go through wedding info and to get some nice fun and relaxed pics (especially down by the gorgeous lake)

The weather was super sunny and was defo hoping for some cloud to diffuse the sun but I didn't see one cloud in the sky! Always looking for the good light so just used a few of the trees for shade down by the lake. Ashleigh & Graeme booked us a few years ago now after seeing us at a wedding so it was really nice to catch up.

After a chat in the bar area we wandered down by the lake to just have fun and get some shots! Below we have a few highlights from earlier

Enjoy

Family Photography West Yorkshire

Today I hooked up with one of our couples (who we shot their wedding a few years ago) at the beautiful Hooton Pagnell Hall in Hooton Pagnell Doncaster to get some nice relaxed family shots with the new addition to their gorgeous family Sophia (how cute and well behaved was she, she absolutely loved posing for me)

I arrived ahead of Elisa & Claudio and got greeted by one of the main bosses of Hooton Pagnell Hall who invited me in for a pot of tea with him 😀 (how friendly) as I waited for the fun loving family.

When Elisa & Claudio arrived we caught up (haven't seen them for a while) before we had another tour of the gorgeous and character filled Hooton Pagnell Hall (wow what a place)

We started in one of the bedrooms and literally wandered around just seeing what we could get with the cute Sophia before heading outside to carry on the shoot, always like to make things very relaxed and informal too

Below are a few highlights from earlier today

The Huntsman Holmfirth Engagement Photography I Wedding Photographer Yorkshire

Earlier today I met up with Samantha & Ben at The Huntsman in Holmfirth after we spent the eve there last night actually celebrating our very own 30 year wedding anniversary (thats where we had our wedding reception 30 years ago, where does the time go)

We initially sat down inside the restaurant (thanks to the lady who sorted us a table out) to go through some info about the wedding day before heading outside to explore and get a few shots before we headed literally round the corner to Samanthas mums house to carry on the fun and the let the little cute one Emilia got to spend some time at Grandmas playing lego! (i wasn't jealous honest)

All around Samantha mums was literally a prop fest and loads of places for pics so spoilt for choice really. I know Sam and Ben did mention they weren't that confident with being in front of the camera but I defo think at the end of our time they did enjoy theirselves 👊

I really do enjoy the pre shoots also as this gives us some relaxed time to get to know each other better, its more about the connection as well as we hope you like a few pics too 😜

Below we have some highlights from earlier with Sam, Ben and Emilia at The Huntsman in Holmfirth

Property Photographer Yorkshire I Property Photography

Just a few from some interior shoots from the last week working with local estate agents, we really do love property photography in yorkshire and as much as we love weddings it defo is a lot calmer.

I went to one the other day and the vendor asked if I had time for a "Posh Coffee" how nice is that? I normally take about 1 hour in a property getting various angles and then just complete a quick floor plan to send back to the estate agents for them to input into their computer software

I really do wish that all estate agents would use a professional photographer for the property images but sadly this isn't the case and some I see leave a lot to be desired 😏 not saying im a big expert but just think quality images get people through the doors then the property will sell itself!

You may notice in a few of the shots below it really does look like they could have tidied up a bit more but as I collected the keys from the estate agents the property was empty and a rental property

Some recent shots below and a floor plan example at the bottom of the images

If you are selling your property or an estate agent wanting to collaborate please get in touch!

Holdsworth House Engagement Photography I Kath & Mick

Yesterday I met up with Kath & Mick (mathers, no relation to marshall) 😂 at Holdsworth House in Halifax for a Pre Weding Shoot/Meeting. The weather was looking decent too and we did get a little bit of blue sky. When I arrived I saw Kath & Mick chilling out in the bar area so we sat down first to go through some info, times and ideas for pics. Kath & Mick did say at the end of the pre shoot they had enjoyed it and it wasn't what they expected (we really do like to make our pre shoots more fun and love to use this time to get to know you a little better)

After a little chat we wandered around the gorgeous grounds (there was also another wedding taking place) and some fav places of mine and even had to get a fun bus stop shot down on the main road (we love the fun stuff)

We always include a pre shoot in all our packages and defo recommend you take advantage of this (you never know you might have a fab time too)

Below we have some randomly selected images from Kath & Mick's pre shoot previews HERE yesterday at Holdsworth House

Enjoy

Aston Hall Wedding Photography - Chelsie & Jordan

Last Saturday we were at a shiny new venue for us in sunny (yes it was sunny) Sheffield at Aston Hall. I arrived bright and early and met up with Chelsie and all the girls getting ready upstairs, it was also great to see Elizabeth again from Elizabeth Daisy Booth getting all the girls looking super gorgeous (like they needed any help NOT)

The weather really looked spot on and the temperature was perfect with super fab light all around the gorgeous grounds of Aston Hall. The room in which the girls were getting ready in was great too with stacks of natural light coming in through the massive double windows (a make up artists dream too)

After some time with the girls I met Jordan downstairs with all his crazy guys and both dads so got some shots using a nice clean wall area (just moving a few tables) and as I was shooting and giving ideas I knew the day was going to be fun with all the banter we had just in these few minutes #loveit before I headed back up to see Chelsie getting her dress buttoned up in the beautiful bridal suite (how nice was this double room)

I really do favour a more natural and fun approach and this really does make everyone feel so much more relaxed, thus allowing me to capture some fab shots (there defo is a method in our approach)

The ceremony was literally a stones throw across the car park to the cute little church (massive shout out to the absolutely fab and friendly lady vicar) and I awaited the arrival of Chelsie whilst capturing some guests and family arriving and a slightly nervous looking Groom (come on Jordan admit it)

After the ceremony I always like to encourage lots of interaction outside the church before we do any more formal and fun stuff plus you have got to do an all important confetti shot when allowed

Chelsie & Jordan took a little drive in the wedding car as everyone made their way back over to Aston Hall to be treated to canopies and drinks outside, I used this time to get some couple shots and general family stuff before Chelsie & Jordan joined us outside.

Chelsie & Jordan had allowed plenty of time to capture some family pics, formal group shots and I even got some time with them (I was really looking forward to some dusk shots too) and we found the most gorgeous pink blossom tree

What a FAB wedding and a massive thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome  (freestyle) and especially to Chelsie & Jordan for letting us really get to know them and shooting their awesome wedding!

Below we have some randomly selected images from the full set of previews which are HERE

Enjoy
