I started at Rogerthorpe on another gorgeous sunny day (how much are we loving this summer) with all the girls getting ready in the amazing & really spacious and AIR CONDITIONED rooms, absolutely loved the space plus the light upstairs in the open plan bathroom area coming through the sky lights #perfect
After some time with the girls I wandered over to see how Luke was getting on and spend some time with the guys, button holes check!
Never wanting to miss any moments and always looking for shots while creating lots of fun & energy I went back to see Amanda getting her make up finished off from Nicola (who I have met at a previous wedding and she is amazing) then a quick exit whilst Amanda got her absolutely stunning dress on to be let back in to see it getting zipped up, just a few more shots before I headed over to the ceremony room (loved the sparkly backdrop from Laurie at Bijou) and waited for the girls to walk over getting a few shots before settling at the front to capture the ceremony action.
When the ceremony had finished we headed out into the gorgeous well kept grounds for pics but seeing no clouds and literally no shade I advised we shoot more shots after the reception so we just enjoyed some time out and apart from some confetti (confetti canon) and group shots it was more relaxed.
In the eve after the reception I encouraged everybody back outside and the light was so much better (it really is about seeing the good light and not just taking the shot regardless of the situation, after all your pics are for life and we do everything we can to make the day enjoyable and choosing the best light and backdrop) plus then I spent some time with Amanda & Luke all around the fab grounds plus down just outside the grounds and using the field next door and even the road side)
Amanda & Luke were absolute stars ALL DAY and this shows in the pictures (luke even had some ideas of his own) I always say at the start of the day dont worry about anything and really just enjoy every single minute of your special day and I really think thats what everybody did at this wedding, lots of banter, fun & laugher all day!
