A few weeks ago we hooked up with the fun loving couple Deana & Daniel at Gomersal Lodge (our very first wedding here). I started off with quite a few, to say the least girls getting ready plus one of the bridesmaids on DJ duty banging out some funky house tunes whilst all the girls were getting ready down in the super huge reception room at Gomersal Lodge (i think this worked so much better than the bedrooms guys so fab idea)
After some girly getting ready stuff we headed off literally down the road to the church in Cleckheaton, the weather was a bit on and off with the rain and was hoping for a dry spell after the ceremony!
When I arrived at the church Daniel was calming himself down (so were all the guys) with the hip flask they had discreetly tucked away in their jackets 😂
After the ceremony outside the church the rain had decided to give us some time so I went through as many formal shots as time allowed plus we managed to get the confetti shot in too. Wedding cars were supplied by Cartwrights of Kirkheaton. The rain didn't want to let us have too much time and as it started again everybody headed up the road to Gomersal Lodge for the reception meal inside one of the biggest marquees we have ever seen!
Speeches were before the meal and they even had the most awesome magician wondering about, really I can't explain how good he was but imagine Dynamo (yes he really was that good)
After the speeches and meal (yeey we got fed as it was a bbq) we prised everybody back outside down to the main front garden to try get as many couple shots, group shots and some nice shots of the fab Bride & Groom as poss! Always seems to be after some naff weather you get awesome skies and we even got one of the most spectacular sunsets EVER!
