What a fab weekend we have had so far, it seems to have been the warmest so far for 2017?
Julie & Paul actually live in the West Midlands but were both from Wakefield and chose to have their special day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park (loads of fab places in there for pics) so really looking forward to that, we have had a few Lifestyle shoots there so we are familiar with some good places for couple shots
We first just sat outside in the sun and went through some info getting some ideas for the more formal shots plus ideas they had for pics (this was also the first time I had met Julie & Paul as they booked us over the phone)
After some ideas plus family shots down we headed up just round the corner from the Holmfield Hotel (where I had spotted the most gorgeous pink tree that i knew would look great in pics) to get a few shots of Julie & Paul before Paul suggested we go over to the Rose Garden just around the corner, lead on mate!
Lucky enough to both get parking spots (it was super busy in the park) we chatted and got to know each other while I just set the odd shot up here and there (should have brought some bread for the ducks as well), the sun was quite strong and really not a lot of cloud in the sky so always conscious of the shadows on faces, always looking for shade or some nice light
It really was nice getting to know Julie & Paul and defo think the wedding is going to be super fun plus looking forward to Paul busting some funky moves on the dance floor :-)
Below we have a few highlights from earlier with Julie & Paul at Thornes Park Wakefield
