This was the very first time also that we had shot a wedding at Durker Roods but can defo say that the place has a lot of character and hope to be back soon.
We spent the morning flitting between Caroline & Mark getting ready as they were in opposite rooms across the hallway which made it so much easier. Durker Roods also has a salon on site and this is where Caroline spent some time whilst getting her make up done by the fab make up lady on site.
Recently as we had had some of the white stuff ( snow ) there was still a nice covering on the ground so I think it just made the look of the xmas wedding so much more festive and added to the feeling.
Durker Roods is set off the road in the Meltham area of Huddersfield at the end of a normal cul de sac kinda so all around it was lovely and peaceful plus there are quite a bit of grounds set all around for nice wedding pictures, bonus!!!
After the ceremony and a few nibbles it was my job to try and prise everybody outside for some group shots etc, I think I defo heard a few groans though but hopefully when they see how fab the group shots look with the snow all around I am sure all the folk that suffered outside ( come on guys it wasn't that cold ) will love the pictures?
Rocking well into the night with our crazy super wide photo booth backdrop as well, we were also treated to Mark's fab band ' The Shambolics ' where he was the drummer.
Here are just a few images from all the fun & laughter on Tuesday at Durker Roods in Huddersfield
When one pair of bridal shoes just won't do!
