Rogerthorpe Manor Wedding Photography - Kim & Steve

Last Saturday for the 2nd of a double wedding weekend we were at the fab Rogerthorpe Manor for Kim & Steve's wedding celebrations bright & early to capture all the girly getting ready vibes in the most amazing room ever, it was like the Big Brother house with loads of beds all around the outside of the room and I think Rogerthorpe Manor use this room for pamper parties, just perfect when you have a few bridesmaids getting ready with loads of room to move about too.

As everything was at Rogerthorpe Manor we also didn't lose anytime going from A to B as it were which did give us lots of time to capture everything and tell Kim & Steve's wedding story in pics. The weather was absolutely perfect with loads of cloud coverage (just what we like) all around which diffused the sun so no squinty eye shots or running for the shade.

The day went super smooth and it was also nice to see Mel from Passion Flowers plus the crazy Laurie from Bijou for the chair covers and accessories decorating the room which looked absolutely gorgeous as ever.

After the ceremony I ushered everybody outside and as ever whilst at Rogerthorpe Manor hopped up to room 13 to hang out the window for the group shots (this works really well here), we went through a list of formal stuff creating fun & laughter whilst we worked (most people are not as keen on this time but we just make it fun and they actually forget we are getting some awesome expressions as they just laugh at us)

Speeches were before the meal so after we had them in the bag (so to speak) we let the wedding party have some time without us so they can enjoy the meal. Later on after the reception meal had finished as we had some time it really was nice to get Kim & Steve to have a walk with us all around the grounds plus a few fav spots outside and next door to Rogerthorpe in the Cornfield (how awesome do they look) before we set up our super wide Photo Booth backdrop in the conservatory area at the rear adjoined to the main room.

What a fab day and can we do it all again? We have some highlights below so please enjoy looking though them please share this blog post with anybody you wish

Massive thanks to Danny for assisting on 2nd shooting! Enjoy the new full frame beast mate!
