I started off at Amy's parents house with one of our team Imagination Tom second shooting for us ( thanks Tom ), we arrived around 10am ish to capture all the girly getting ready stuff with a quick trip off to see Lee also getting ready at his parents virtually minutes away.
Lots of fun & laughter as usually even though the weather was totally NOT playing ball as it started to drizzle quite a lot BOOHOO!
Never to let the weather put a dampener ( dampener get it? ) on things we got lots of shots of all the girls getting ready and managed to persuade them outside for some fun shots in the road around Amy's parents, all good fun!
Amy had a double decker bus to pick her up and all her girls etc ( what a great idea, lots of space on the bus ). We set off to get to The Stables in Doncaster so we could get parked up and get some shots of the bus arriving too.
At this point the weather had started to ease off and didn't look too bad tbf so I was really hoping we would get some shots outside with everybody later after the ceremony.
After the wedding ceremony we got everybody outside and within minutes, yes literally minutes it went from ok to a downpour!!! Quick dash everybody back inside the ceremony room and we got some shots of family members etc and really prayed we could recreate them later outside ( always prefer nice natural light )
Amy & Lee were superstars tbf as I am sure the last thing you want on your wedding day is rain? They always had a smile on their faces ( even Mr Cool Lee ), thanks for being awesome guys and bearing with us even with the cak weather!
After the speeches we persuade Amy & Lee to come for a little walk around the grounds for us to get some super creative off camera flash shots ( loving the creative flash look, lots of ideas ), after about 20 mins or so ( that's all we need ) we headed back up to The Stables to set up our super wide Photo Booth backdrop for some fun Photo Booth shots.
Really want to say thanks to Amy & Lee for letting us into their special wedding day and thanks for keeping that smile on your faces even when the weather didn't want to play!
